Software Test Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 1–3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with manual testing methodologies
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and test cases
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective
• Develop and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, test reports)
• Support release activities and validate production deployments
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• ISTQB certification is a plus

  • Accounting
  • Sales & CRM
  • Inventory & Purchase
  • HR & Payroll

• Knowledge of Odoo configurations (workflows, record rules, access rights, automated actions)
• Experience with Odoo Studio and custom module testing
• Basic understanding of Python (for reviewing technical logic)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman)
• ISTQB certification is a plus
